The NBA and it’s commissioner David Stern announced yesterday that the Washington Wizards star Gilbert Arenas is suspended indefinitely from the NBA. Mr Arenas went under investigation last week for gun charges, and specifically for having four unlicensed guns inside his locker at the home of the Wizards Verizon Center, including a golden Desert Eagle, one of the biggest handguns available. The guns came out after a fight with Washington teammate Javaris Crittenton over a gambling debt. Arenas is also facing assault charges for the incident and disagreement with his fellow NBAer, as well as gun charges for carrying a pistol without a license.
Maybe the time has come to change the team’s name back from the Washington Wizards to the Washington Bullets?
